This week’s theme for fifty-two on Friday is bright colors! From San Diego to across the United States … 19 other child and family photographers from The Bloom Forum and I have joined together to challenge each other on a theme every week. Each one of us will link to one other photographer’s unique vision. Some of my favorite themes … b&w, shoes, love, fashion, alone, game, eyes, friendship, water and summer.
Last week Brooks and I met up with some friends at Legoland… the perfect place to capture images for this week. We arrived a little early to have some time to play before we walked over to the new water park. We really don’t go to Legoland to ride many rides … there are just a couple that he enjoys… but the driving school is a big hit! Brooks true love here are the water slides and the pools.
This was my view from my lounge chair for the rest of our afternoon at the water park … feet relaxing in the soft white sand … truly feeling like I was on vacation.
After 4 hours of water park fun, I took Brooks over to the newest lego section … Star Wars! I wish I had a video of his excitement and wonder as he retold every scene he saw. It was hysterical. A very cool new addition to the park!
Our last stop before we left was to try his skill with lego racing. We’ve been coming to race lego creations since he was 3 … it was a blast. His little racer didn’t have too much success on the track but after each run, Brooks would make adjustments to try to make it better. Love his determination!
Next up is the talented Jolie Starrett Dallas Senior Photographer.
