san diego child photographer | fifty-two on friday {3} joy

Yay!!!  It’s Friday … which means it’s time for fifty-two on Friday!

19 other photographers and I have joined together to challenge each other on a theme every week.  Each one of us will link to one other photographer so that you can go through and see each photographer’s unique vision.  Our first theme was self portrait and the second one was B & W.

Joy!  My blog is filled with joy … a recent favorite might be Brooks’ back to school session.

Oh, I had so many ideas about getting the perfect photograph of joy when we went to Big Bear for Brooks’ first trip to the snow last weekend.  I’ve spent the last month falling in love with amazing snow images from all my fab photog friends and knew that’s what I wanted.  Well, the snow in Big Bear (and the 60 degree weather we had)  isn’t quite the same as all the beautiful fresh snow images I saw on facebook and blogs.

So, I adjusted my vision of joy and chose to share this diptych that shows one (of the many) joys of living in San Diego.

Within a 24 hour period, we went from skiing the gorgeous slopes of Big Bear to the gorgeous 80 degree beaches of San Diego.

How many of you get to do that?!  🙂
