Happy Spring Break to all my San Diego friends!  I hope you’re enjoying vacation with friends and family!

It seems like it’s been way too long since my last vacation when I met up with friends for Bloom’s face2face workshop.  One of my goals for the workshop was to try out studio lights.  I had one of my favorite photographers right by my side to teach me her tricks … Brenda Acuncius.  When I first became interested in photography, Brenda’s fliker page was total eye candy.

I love the simplicity of studio set up.  I don’t plan on investing in lights anytime soon, but I love getting out the seamless paper and using natural light.  I loved the look with the seamless from this sweet southern girl session and from one of my recent fifty-two on Friday posts.  These awesome crates are from Wendell Wilson Woodworks.

Thanks for the hand holding Bren!  xoxo

This first beauty is Kristy Lane‘s niece.

This cutie belongs to Maureen Wilson.

Even Brooks gave me a moment with the lights. These crates are from Wendell Wilson Woodworks.

This is Bren’s lovely daughter!
