pond family | san diego beach photographer

I had so much fun photographing the Pond family at the beach last month.  After we had to postpone the session a few times, we were finally able to meet up at the beach for a quick mini session.  This gorgeous mama is also a photographer and was wanting a few photos with her whole family for their Christmas cards!  These kiddos made my job soooo easy!  They came ready to smile and listen!

Thanks so much for great night!

in his own time | san diego child photographer

When Brooks was 2 1/2, the Easter Bunny brought him his first bike.  He hopped on and took off like a pro.  Last summer, I took the training weeks off that bike but he was too nervous to ride without them.  I just didn’t get it and didn’t have much patience for what I knew he could do.  Well, it was a lesson for me that he needs to do things when he’s ready to do them.  This summer, after watching friend after friend speed along on a two wheeler, he decided he was ready.  The wheels came off and he took off riding!  Easy as that!  He’s like an old pro again and I couldn’t be happier that it was done in his own time.

Here are a few captures of his big day!

my crush | san diego child photographer

I just returned from the most amazing retreat with a very inspiring, giving, brilliant photographer… Barb Uil of Jinky Art.  She was everything I was hoping for and more!  We had LOTS of sessions throughout the workshop, but this post will share my very last frame of the day.  It’s probably my favorite and so worth the wait it took to get it.  I’ll be going through and working on many more favorites, but first I’m off to spend a fun day with Brooks.  Thank you Barb! xoxo

On the business side… I switched the first mini session date from the park to a family session (September 25 or 26).  It’s the last family session date that’s open for the rest of 2010.  There are only 2 mini session spots open on October 24th (3:50 and 4:10).  When those fill, I’ll be booked for the year!  Yippee!!!

Please contact me ASAP if you’re interested in one of the 3 openings.

I love this image so much … I couldn’t choose between color and bw so here are both!

2010 holiday mini sessions | jules trandem photography

I am so excited to announce the dates for the holiday mini sessions.

I am planning these sessions at my favorite places to photograph in San Diego … the park, the field, and the beach.

If you’re looking for more than a mini, there are a few dates available for a full custom family session.   All holiday sessions need to be completed by November 15th and holiday print and card orders need to be in by December 1st.

baby b | san diego newborn photographer

This is one of the beautiful newborn babies that I was able to photograph when I was on vacation this summer.  I joined up with Tamara Lalanne and Gina Maxine on a busy day with back to back newborn sessions.  They are a wonderful newborn team.  Thanks for including me in the fun!  I can’t wait for my next newborn session in San Diego this year.
