And… what’s a post without a few pictures. Last month, Brooks came with me to meet a client and gave me 5 minutes of camera time before she arrived. He’s growing up too fast.

How do I even start to explain how much I adore this family?! Little L was one of the first graders in my class last year and his fabulous mom was one of my best room parents! I loved the days when she volunteered so we could also catch up on news and laugh. She has a heart of gold and so does the rest of her family. I can’t wait until Miss N is in first grade. xoxo

So cute!!! I just did a photo shoot down by the Newport Beach pier while we were in California. I am now IN LOVE with pier shoots. These pictures turned out beautiful! I especially love the starfish one!

Haley was such a dream to work with! First, we started off at J Crew to style her … head to toe … we picked out a fun, funky outfit that was darling on her. I loved helping to pick out an outfit and chose some fun details such as a cute ring, necklace and clutch. Styling a session is just as important as choosing a location! We were planning on a beach session, but by 2:00 that afternoon, the clouds had rolled in and the sun was no where in sight! I wanted the beautiful sunset light to show off her gorgeous hair so we made a quick change in plans and met closer to home. San Diego has an endless supply of great locations, but this just may be my new favorite for a senior girl portrait session.
