family photographer san diego | fifty-two on friday {39} ruffles

This week’s theme for fifty-two on Friday is ruffles!   From San Diego to across the United States … 19 other child and family photographers from The Bloom Forum and I have joined together to challenge each other on a theme every week.  Each one of us will link to one other photographer’s unique vision. Some of my favorite themes …  b&w,  shoes,  lovefashionalonegame,  eyes,  friendshipwater and summer.

This summer when I did a session with my sister’s family in Santa Barbara, we asked Tiffany Snyder to help with some fun styling.  One of her darling ideas was this awesome rooster!  I knew it would be perfect to get Brooks in a shot or two for this week’s theme… as close to ruffles as we could get!

P.S.  I just opened this image for the first time since the beginning of August and had totally forgotten how bad his cut really was.  Try to get past the horrible hair cut … thank goodness his hair grows quickly.

Here is one with her family!  They had so much fun!!!

Next up is the wonderfully talented   Gretchen Davis-Portland OR Photographer.
