family photographer san diego | fifty-two on friday {16} pastel

This week’s theme for fifty-two on Friday is pastel!

From San Diego to across the United States … 19 other child and family photographers from The Bloom Forum and I have joined together to challenge each other on a theme every week.  Each one of us will link to one other photographer’s unique vision. Some of my favorite themes …  b&wsimple,  shoes,  lovefashionalonegame,  eyes,  and friendship.

These colors are about as close as I come to pastels.  I don’t wear pastel.  My house doesn’t have pastel.  My boy doesn’t do pastel.  🙂

So … here is my version of pastel!  These images were taken of Brooks and two of his favorite cousins when we were enjoying spring break in Santa Barbara a few weeks ago.  We had the opportunity to get together with some lovely ladies from the Bloom Forum to talk, share and shoot!  I spent most of the time with my camera on these three!  Brooks was much more interested in climbing and finding sticks.  He humored me with a few photographs … you can tell  he wasn’t really ‘feeling it’  … but I still love the memory!  We had so much fun exploring the ranch and enjoying the scenery.

I can’t wait to visit our wonderful hostess Vernie again this summer!
