This weekend, Brooks and I had the pleasure of two fun days hanging out with Gretchen and Shannon (and kiddos). They are both fabulous photographers … newborns, children, families … you name it, they do it beautifully. You can see more of gorgy Shannon in this recent post.
The first day we hung out for hours and hours at the beach watching the kids run and chase with the waves. I loved how Brooks and J hit it off right away … just like their mamas. It was wonderful to stretch out, relax, and talk about photography, family, kids and the friends we miss so much. If you can believe it, we had all of our gear, yet didn’t take a single photograph! That’s right … not one. Our next day together we went to downtown San Diego for a delicious breakfast at the Mission, with the promise to take our gear out to shoot a few images. We have some fun ones of the kids, some of the mamas, and some of all of us. I’ll share those later.
I knew this is what I wanted to do for my ‘just us twelve times’ post for March so it was so handy to pass my camera over to fellow Canon user, Gretchen … Shannon shoots for the other team
