This week’s theme for fifty-two on Friday is eyes!

When I think of eyes, it’s easy for me to go straight to Brooks’ gorgeous baby blues and his crazy long lashes, but I think you all have a pretty good idea what they look like. His eyes are always a very powerful part of his portraits. So, since this is a project to push my creativity and to collect memories on a weekly basis (I’ll put all these posts together at the end of the year into a book) I went looking for something a little different this week.
I love my conversations with Brooks during our drive to school or while we are playing games at home. He often talks about his dreams for the future and what he wants to be when he grows up. A few years ago, it was all about being a police man. Then came his desires to be a Jedi master (that’s still pretty high on his list).
But now when he closes his eyes and dreams of his future, this is the list of what his 6 year old self wants to be when he grows up…
*teacher
*photographer
*work at starbucks
*work for apple
His list cracks me up … sounds pretty familiar!
I can’t wait to see where his dreams take him!
