beach photographer san diego | fifty-two on friday {26} frame it

This week’s theme for fifty-two on Friday is frame it!   From San Diego to across the United States … 19 other child and family photographers from The Bloom Forum and I have joined together to challenge each other on a theme every week.  Each one of us will link to one other photographer’s unique vision. Some of my favorite themes …  b&wsimple,  shoes,  lovefashionalonegame,  eyes,  friendship and water.

Last weekend Brooks and I were heading down the coast past Del Mar and decided to make a quick stop at the Scripps pier in La Jolla for this week’s theme.  I thought the lines of the pier would make a perfect frame.  We parked in a 20 minute loading spot and raced down to the water for a few minutes of fun.  We were really hoping for a bit of sunshine but the sun didn’t make it out to the coast until Monday.

Don’t you adore the gorgeous tones of the water in La Jolla!?

He was so sad to leave after such a short time, so I promised Brooks we would come back soon and stay for the day.
