Thursday was another big first in our house … the first day of elementary for Brooks. He is now at my school in a pre K class and couldn’t be happier!!!
He’s in a class with 24 other 4 year olds and a wonderful teacher. Already, he is loving the books, songs and projects from school and can’t wait to tell me all about his day. But, if you ask him, his favorite thing about elementary is recess … shocker! :) His least favorite part of school is the noise and smell at the lunch tables… I have no idea where he got that from
.
At home, we rearranged his lego table into a work table … he loves having his own little work space complete with crayons, markers, and other supplies, plus his own computer. Also as you will see, he still is never far from puppy (aka blanket).
It just wouldn’t be a proper day if it didn’t start with a little Jamba Juice for B and an iced vanilla soy latte from Coffee Bean for me! LOVE!!!

Kit Womble - Oh my gosh, Jules. I can see the baby face in him in the one with him digging in his backpack that I didn’t see at f2f the whole weekend (he seemed like such a big boy! I figured he was 5 or so!). As a mom of a 4 year old, that made my eyes well up, because I know if I see it, you definitely see your baby in there! This is such a great series. I hope Brooks loves school this year, and so glad he gets to be there with you!
